Criminal Injuries Compensation
Scope of this chapter
This guidance sets out the process to be followed when giving consideration to making or supporting an application for a Criminal Injuries Compensation Award, which is a government-funded scheme designed to compensate blameless victims of violent crime in Great Britain. The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) administers this scheme and decides all claims.
